"Painting in the Natural Light""
Experience 7 glorious days (Friday to Friday) at the beautiful vineyards and resort of Villa Dievole, just outside of Siena. This stunning location will be our backdrop while painting in the natural light - including landscapes, still lifes and figures. Painting in the open air, along with visits into Siena or neighboring villages will inspire you to create more vibrant paintings using values, color and composition.
Exceptional accommodations, beautiful vistas of Tuscan pines and vineyards, authentic Italian meals, BBQ's and of course, wines, will all be included in this week of painting. Indulge yourself in this amazing opportunity to paint and soak up the beauty of Tuscany - and have a memory to last a lifetime!
7 Day Workshop Includes:
Upscale accommodations at the Villa Dievole (with 2 pools, restaurant, and bar) We will have our own large house with 4 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 single rooms and 1 with a private bath.
Workshop - 5 morning demos and discussions and free afternoons painting in the studio, gardens and vineyards. We will cover landscapes, still lifes and figures in the natural light, and discuss composition, color and perspective. We will also do a night painting for those interested.
Authentic Italian meals together - full breakfasts, 4 home-cooked dinners by Dievole, and 3 by the Il Chiostro chefs.
Select Sightseeing Trips - 2 to hillside towns, 1 to Siena. Winery tour and tasting at the vineyard.
Closing night celebrating our week together and having a show of our paintings.
